On May 5th, Pluto goes retrograde in Aquarius, but honestly? Pluto retrograde is not that big a deal compared to Mercury or Venus going backward. If you want to stretch out the optimal period, technically you have a green light of momentum from March 20th all the way until June 29th when Mercury goes retrograde in Cancer. That’s nearly 14 weeks of clear skies.

Best Dates in 2027 for Astrology: A Much Shorter Window

The all planets direct window in 2027 runs from April 14th to May 9th when Pluto goes retrograde. Or if you don’t want to count Pluto retrograde, it stretches to June 14th when Mercury goes retrograde. Either way, compare that to our 47 days in 2026.

And 2027 starts rough. Mars is goes retrograde from January 10th until April 1st, Jupiter is already retrograde, and then Mercury goes retrograde mid-February through mid-March. The first few months of 2027 are stacked with backward-moving energy before the all planets direct window even opens.
