Neptune in Pisces — Not to Return for 165 Years
Neptune in Pisces is almost over. And honestly? That is a very good thing. Haven’t you had enough of illusions, delusions, and spiritual challenges? I know I have. We are in the home stretch.
Neptune officially leaves Pisces on January 26, 2026, but first it stations direct on December 10 at 29° Pisces. This is its final cleanup pass before moving on. Neptune rules Pisces, and on paper that sounds supportive. But Pisces energy is mutable, porous, and constantly shifting. It asks us to embrace flow, intuition, and spiritual attunement before anything becomes concrete.
That process, however, often requires wading through illusion first.
Illusion, Delusion, and the Two Faces of Neptune
Every planetary energy has a lower and higher expression. With Neptune, the lower vibration can show up as escapism, fantasy, addiction, or avoidance. The higher vibration is spiritual alignment, compassion, and moving toward what is divinely true for you.
Since around 2011, many of us have been on a long journey of spiritual discernment. What is real? What is false? What is projection? What is truth? Neptune in Pisces has asked us to become more aware of our spiritual consciousness or, alternatively, to run from it.
That duality has been unavoidable.
Awareness as the Final Lesson
When I was planning this video, I immediately thought of the Awareness card from the Osho Zen Tarot. The image shows a small Buddha figure stepping into the light as a veil parts. Illusions are stripped away because awareness has arrived.
That is exactly what this final Neptune-in-Pisces chapter is about. This is a moment to look at the Pisces area of your chart and ask real questions:
- Has your consciousness shifted?
- Have certain illusions fallen away?
- Have you learned karmic lessons related to this part of your life?
Neptune dissolves. It erodes boundaries. Pisces reminds us why boundaries matter. This transit has made it painfully clear where boundaries were missing, ignored, or impossible to maintain.
Saturn in Pisces Changed Everything
While Neptune entered Pisces in 2011, the energy intensified dramatically once Saturn entered Pisces in 2023. Saturn demands form, structure, and accountability. Neptune dissolves. Pisces drifts.
That combination has been a wake-up call.
Before Saturn, it was easier to float, dream, and postpone. Saturn did not allow that. Saturn forced reality checks. It demanded that people face what they had been avoiding, especially on a soul level.
Neptune and Saturn will meet again on February 20, 2026, but this time in Aries. That marks the beginning of an entirely new cycle. This moment, however, is about closure.
Why Awareness Matters Now
This final stretch is not about judging yourself. It is about awareness. Awareness is not punishment. It is a flame that burns away fog. Like a lighthouse, it helps prevent your life from crashing against unseen rocks.
At 29° Pisces, Neptune sits at the very end of the zodiac. This is karmic territory. You cannot truly close a cycle without understanding what created it. You cannot just “take out the trash” without knowing what filled the bags in the first place.
Otherwise, the same patterns return.
This is about gently recognizing what you no longer need, what you no longer want to carry, and what has run its course.
The Threshold Between Endings and Beginnings
From December 10 until January 26, Neptune offers a final opportunity for reflection. What still needs to be acknowledged before you move forward? What illusions must be faced so they do not follow you into 2026?
The year ahead is packed with potential. But potential requires clarity.
In the Osho Zen Tarot, the Awareness card corresponds to the Chariot in the Major Arcana. The Chariot is about choice. Direction. Commitment. You can choose to remain passive, or you can choose awareness and forward motion.
The end truly is where we start from.
How Neptune in Pisces Affected the Mutable Zodiac Signs
This transit has been especially challenging for the mutable signs.
- Gemini and Sagittarius experienced identity shifts, confusion, and energetic fatigue as Neptune squared or opposed their Sun.
- Virgo faced energy drains and boundary lessons, often through other people.
- Pisces placements endured the deepest dissolving of all — a prolonged period of questioning purpose, direction, and identity.
For many Pisces placements, there was a sense of sinking and resurfacing repeatedly until Neptune finally moved past key degrees. When that happened, clarity slowly returned.
What Changes When Neptune Enters Aries
Neptune in Aries will feel very different. The fog lifts. The question becomes: Will you stand up for your values, your autonomy, and your authenticity? Or will you tolerate situations that undermine them?
Neptune in Pisces blurred lines collectively as well. At 29°, certain social dynamics, friendships, and creative collaborations may simply dissolve because they are no longer aligned.
This is not loss. It is completion.
Closing Reflections
Neptune leaving Pisces is a gift. It allows us to release what no longer belongs in the next chapter of our lives. Awareness clears the way.
What are you ready to let go of? What illusions are finally dissolving? What fresh beginning are you preparing for as 2026 approaches?
