Your June 2019 Monthly Horoscopes are here! The energy in June has two distinct flavors—just like Gemini!—there’s the lighter, frothier energy of Venus in Gemini—and then we have a difficult energy mid-month that could really put our undies in a twist, so to speak.Scroll down the page for individual sun sign horoscopes.
All the world’s a stage, as Shakespeare said, and to me the month of June is about all the workthat goes on behind the scenes before the curtain rises on the first act. There’s sets to build, actors to cast, lines to learn — etc. In many ways this month of June is preparing us for July’s blockbuster energy of eclipses and a Mercury retrograde.
If you thought July 2018 was crazy when we had that south node eclipse in Aquarius or if you thought March 2019 was the most terrible Mercury retrograde ever, then just wait until July arrives and the curtain rises. We will find in July that the actors we thought were cast in our little play suddenly leave — and the script gets rewritten. But we will talk about that next month, so be sure to check for your July horoscope as it gets published.
Mercury enters Cancer on June 4th — we can take on too much and bottle up resentment, we can get entrenched in our own belief systems (especially those from childhood) and find it hard to shift these beliefs. We treat emotions as facts and may have challenges to look objectively at situations. Mercury arrives in Cancer the day after the new moon, so this is a great opportunity to examine both sides (Gemini) of an issue and make a plan to clear out some emotional baggage.
Venus enters Gemini on June 9th and the energy is light, flirtatious, bubbly. Communication about relationships, love, dating, are in the spotlight. This month is a great time to get out and about and spend time doing fun things with people whose company you enjoy. It’s also a great time to meet someone new — friend or potential lover — in the neighborhood as you go about your daily business — if you’re looking for love, spend some time in typical Gemini places: coffeeshops, bookstores, carnivals and fairs, outdoor flea markets, etc. Ask your friends to go with you—you’ll have more luck in groups with this energy.
The 18th and 19th of June are times to be on alert as Mercury and Mars join and both oppose Pluto and Saturn (and the south node of release) in Capricorn. The overall energy for this is volatile—angry words—possibly those bottled up for a long time—released in a volcanic eruption of epic proportions. This potential blow-out could be related to a karmic issue that needs to be cleared—karmic because Saturn and the South Node are involved. Pluto is cautioning that there will be no going back from burning this bridge. If you want a particular situation to go up in flames, then light the match. Just be aware that this energy is very combustible and you could get burned, too.
The summer solstice arrives on June 21st at 11:54 am Eastern Time. That same day Neptune goes retrograde in Pisces until November 27th. This is a great day to spend some time near the water to calm and refocus your heart and mind. Where are you on your path toward fulfilling your desires? Since the solstice is a time of amplified energy, this is a good time to write a powerful affirmation of what you want to create in your life—just make sure to write it using the present tense, as if it is happening now as part of your reality.
Finally, we end the month with Venus opposite Jupiter on June 23rd. This energy speaks of excess—of over promising and under-delivering—especially with Venus in Gemini. So be aware of the promises you are making to others—even with good intentions, you may not be able to follow through. Similarly, take with a grain of salt anyone’s “big talk” right now. People are feeling generous of spirit, but they just may not have the follow through to deliver.

You may be feeling like the light at the end of the tunnel is possibly an oncoming train, Aries, but that’s not really the case. Just because in the recent past it’s been so rough doesn’t mean it’s going to be deja vu all over again. You are wiser, now, Aries. Know that the track you’re on has shifted because you have shifted your mindset as the result of your experiences the last few years. The Universe is offering you a chance this month to prove yet again that you are in control of the switches and you can change your direction if you keep a cool head and a steady hand on the wheel. Overall, you should be feeling pretty good in June, as the Gemini energy fans your enthusiasm for a new project, possibly even a new love interest. The days between the 14th and 21st could be tricky, however, as the tension mounts between your ruler, Mars, and the opposing forces of Saturn and Pluto. You must maintain your calm, your poise, and your integrity. Someone is going to flick the switch on you and push all your buttons—most likely a boss or some government or authority figure. They might accuse you of all sorts of bullshit and try to put the blame on you. Your ruler Mars is at a disadvantage in Cancer, so you will probably not be victorious if you fight fire with fire. The Universe is testing you to see if you have learned that not every battle is yours to fight—that sometimes the greatest self-preservation is to simply walk away. Letting off some steam in a kick box class at the gym and/or shedding a few tears in private would be a better way to handle whatever might come up mid-month, rather than resorting to the usual Aries ninja warfare. The full moon on the 17th brings a lucky break in writing, publishing, teaching, traveling, and spiritual breakthroughs. I hope you have a great month, Aries. Let me know in the comments how the energy plays out for you. And if you need support navigating a personal situation, book a reading with me.
Venus’s recent trek through your first house has boosted your sex appeal and put a spring into your step. In favorable alignment to Saturn and Pluto on the third, Venus may have you whipping out that credit card to book a fantastic summer holiday; alternatively, you could be finding the funds to pay for a transformational retreat or conference or new training/education program. The experiences and skills you glean from such investment will prove life-changing. Since Venus is your ruling planet, anything she gets up to is important to keep an eye on. And she gets up to some shenanigans on the 23rd when she’s in Gemini opposite Jupiter. Opposition energy means something needs to be balanced; that there could be a power struggle, or a need to make a decision. In your case, you want something very badly—probably that aforementioned holiday adventure—yet someone you’d like to come with can’t pay for his or her share. Or perhaps the splashing out for a second honeymoon of caviar and champagne comes up against the stark reality of your pretzel and beer budget and the limits of your credit card access line. Taurus usually does not like to charge anything unless they can pay off the balance in full the next month. Taurus people are often very good with money and the people around you know it. Someone could try and tap you for a loan around the 23rd, and you might promise to help out, only to regret doing so the next day. Keep a keen eye on your cash. Try to find the balance between self-denial and self-indulgence. Uranus in your sign is already giving you that urge for going, so please do try and get away on a little holiday if at all possible this month. Just avoid going the week of June 14-21st when Mars in your third house of travel is feeling cranky.Another day to watch is around the full moon on the 17th which could bring a surprising lucky break from someone you’ve helped in the past who’s now returning the favor.I hope you have a great month, Taurus. Let me know in the comments how the energy plays out for you. And if you need support navigating a personal situation, book a reading with me.
Happy Birthday, Gemini! Your personal new moon arrives on Monday, the 3rd, and the next day Mercury goes into Cancer, your second house of money, values, and confidence. If you’ve been wanting an emotional reset in your self-worth, then this new moon is perfect for that. Mercury in your second house can help you finally get a handle on budgeting, upleveling your beliefs, and releasing / healing emotional wounds connected to abundance and prosperity. Wednesday, June 5th when the moon is in Cancer would be a great day for writing down your intentions and holding the vision of how you want to improve those areas of your life. When Venus sashays into Gemini on the 8th, the energy is just how you like it: intellectual, airy, flirtatious, fun-loving, amusing. The energy around June 10th cautions you to be careful of over-giving in relationships and of keeping greed and boasting in check. You could meet someone very interesting around this time and blow it if you come across as a narcissistic, know-it-all. Use your Gemini quick wit for banter, not bragging. Your second house of money is being further energized by Mars this month and expenses could increase, particularly around the 14-21st. At that time, Mars is opposite Saturn and Pluto and the south node in your 8th house of transformation and resources of others. There could be a shift in who holds the purse strings this month, Gemini, as one source of income or job dries up and another one manifests. Try not to lose your temper if a money situation is volatile mid-month, as doing so will only make matters worse. The full moon on the 17th in your opposite sign of Sagittarius brings relationships into focus—and the energy is either of release or reward. Focus on what you want rather than what you don’t want and don’t make any promises you can’t keep on the 23rd. I hope you have a great month, Gemini. Let me know in the comments how the energy plays out for you. And if you need support navigating a personal situation, book a reading with me.
Happy Birthday, June Cancers! Since mid-May when Mars entered your sign, you’ve been probably feeling a bit more emotional than usual—and that’s saying something—since Cancers are known for being emotive, heart on the sleeve sweeties. Mars though is not at his best in Cancer. As Mars continues traveling through your sign, opposing the heavy players Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, you might feel that everything and everyone is on a mission to personally antagonize you this month. Other people are bringing you powerful lessons this month in asserting careful boundaries. Weeping and gnashing of teeth won’t get you anywhere and neither will out and out bombs away anger. Cool detachment would serve you well this month, especially from the 14th to the 21st, and especially around the full moon on the 17th. Moon-ruled Cancers are always a bit more sensitive at the full moon, but this one could be especially tender. Someone or some situation in your life is trying to rein you in, and you are not having any of it. You could make a big decision at this full moon to cut your losses and move on from a situation that has simply become too oppressive. You are quite possibly dealing with an emotional vampire who likes to exert control over you and does so by knowing precisely how to guilt trip you into doing their bidding. It’s time to rule your own kingdom, Cancer. On the 18th as Mercury conjuncts Mars in your sign, you may be speaking some long overdue truths—but don’t expect the other party to necessarily agree or suddenly acquiesce and admit that you’re right. This is unlikely. Speak your piece and go your own way. The power struggle is not worth this amount of emotional exhaustion you’ve been enduring. You need to get yourself in a more centered emotional space before July when the two eclipses in your sign are going to rock your world. I hope you have a great month, Cancer. Let me know in the comments how the energy plays out for you. And if you need support navigating a personal situation, book a reading with me.
The power of petition, prayer, and positivity is there for you at the new moon June 3rd, Leo, happening in your 11th house of hopes and wishes. Write down your most cherished dream, light a candle, and set your intention for manifestation. The power of the written word is strong to help bring you what you want with Mercury going into Cancer your 12th house the day after the new moon. Clearing subconscious emotional blocks to your success is also favored at this time; notice what resistance comes up for you when you allow yourself to really dream big dreams for yourself. Let go of the self-sabotage, dear Leo. Write down your fears on a piece of paper at this new moon and burn them away, while directing energy into the paper that holds your dreams. Mars is also stirring up your 12th house, and you may have particularly strong and active dreams all month; you may wake up exhausted, having felt you lived another life when you were asleep—and you very may well have! The Sagittarius full moon on the 17th urges caution in risk-taking, especially regarding love. New information may come to light that protects you from getting involved with a dubious character. This person may be associated with your work environment, which is already under heavy strain from Saturn, Pluto, and the South node. Don’t mix business with pleasure because the gossip machine could go into overdrive and you could find yourself in a compromising position. On June 27th, Mercury enters Leo, and you may have something very important to shout from the rooftops. Make sure that you get it all out now before Mercury goes retrograde in your sign on July 8th—and before you change your mind about this big decision that you’ve finally made. I hope you have a great month, Leo. Let me know in the comments how the energy plays out for you. And if you need support navigating a personal situation, book a reading with me.
No one has to tell a Virgo to work hard; you are natural born busy bees. The thing is: Virgos often take care of everything and everyone else first before they even stop and think about what they need and what their dreams are. This month as your 11th house sees some serious action with Mars in Cancer, it would be good to put some of that famous Virgo elbow grease into your own personal agenda. When Mercury joins Mars on the 18th, make that dream action plan you’ve been putting off. Focus on articulating your wishes for your life instead of possibly losing your patience and temper with yet another unwanted demand on your time. You’re learning that boundaries are your best friend, particularly with romantic partners and children (if you have them). The full moon on the 17th lights up the house of your home, family, and roots. The energy is a bit volatile around this time, so watch out for arguments at home erupting over the most ridiculous things (like who ate the special leftovers in the fridge you were saving for your lunch). There might also be an unexpectedly large increase in your rent if your lease is up for renewal and/or if you’re looking to buy a home, you could find just the place, but again, it might cost a bit more than what you wanted to pay. When Mercury heads into your 12th house on June 27th, old memories and thoughts about a past love could get stirred up. Energetically, you may still be attached to this person. If you’ve been wanting to manifest a new relationship, the energy from this old relationship could be standing in the way. A cord cutting ceremony might be in order. Also the energy at month’s end could reveal a secret that someone’s been keeping from you for a while. Or one of your own secrets could get out. My intuitive sense is that you told someone you forgave them for a misdeed, but you really didn’t—and another layer of the truth of that situation could come out. Then, you will be putting all your cards on the table—and what is revealed could be quite shocking to the other person. I hope you have a great month, Virgo. Let me know in the comments how the energy plays out for you. And if you need support navigating a personal situation, book a reading with me.
Getting away from it all is on your mind this month, Libra. The new moon in Gemini on June 3rdin your house of faraway travel has you dreaming of summer vacation. The best time for that would be in August or early September. Even if you see a travel bargain for July, please think it over very carefully before you book the trip since Mercury will be retrograde and we have two eclipses as well that month. If you can get away the last week of June, that would be okay, too. You probably won’t be able to get away from work mid-month, as a crisis could loom that only you can address. The energy between the 14th and the 20th has Mars stirring up your tenth house of career, opposing rigid rule making Saturn and bulldozer of doom Pluto in your fourth house of home and family. Somebody is not taking too kindly to the fact that you are working so much overtime. That person could even be you. Yes, you like the extra money you’re bringing in working overtime, but you are wondering if it’s worth the aggravation you’re getting at home for being out all hours. If you’re single, then your cat is probably missing you terribly and your home could use a good spring cleaning. Some Libras are pouring so much of themselves into work because they are avoiding dealing with some radical changes going on at home and with family. There could be a big change on the way in your home / family life, which is likely to manifest around the total lunar eclipse on July 16th. This month, you may already be sensing this change on the horizon. Eclipses bring change and often endings—but more on that in next month’s forecast. This month you also have to be careful to guard against passive/aggressive communications at work and/or losing your cool at an inappropriate moment. Mercury will also be in that tenth house of career and when it conjuncts Mars on the 18th and 19th, you could blurt out something you regret to a co-worker—and it could come back to haunt you. I hope you have a great month, Libra. Let me know in the comments how the energy plays out for you. And if you need support navigating a personal situation, book a reading with me.
Early in the month, Scorpio, it’s time to cue Marvin Gaye on your iPod and get into some musical sexual healing. Prime yourself June 3rd when the moon is new in your 8th house of intimacy because on that same day, Venus in your house of relationships trines Pluto in your third house of the everyday. This is an energy of potentially huge positive transformation in your love life. New moons open up portals of possibility, so set your intention to manifest a soul and physical union that will transform your every day single life into one of coupled bliss. Venus enters that 8th house on June 8th, and with Mercury transiting Cancer, you could be all loved up with text messages, or even poetry. This new relationship will help you to understand that when you meet the right person, you don’t have to hide your feelings. On the 17th the moon is full in your second house of money and self-esteem. You could be signing some sort of contract for your services, particularly if you are in publishing, writing, higher education, the law, media, international business or international travel. You may have to be a bit assertive to make sure the contract is more favorable to you than the other party, but it should work out in your favor. On June 21st, Neptune goes retrograde in your fifth house of love, creativity, and risk-taking. You could have a big rethink about your relationship status. If you’ve been comfortable being alone for a long time, you may discover that that situation no longer suits you. Neptune is the planet of fog, illusion, and also dissolution. A project you felt invested in may no longer draw your attention. You could also see a relationship from the past come back between now and the end of November. Don’t worry—you’re not going to take them back. Those feelings are long gone, and you have a new potential romance to focus on now. I hope you have a great month, Scorpio. Let me know in the comments how the energy plays out for you. And if you need support navigating a personal situation, book a reading with me.
Your seventh house of relationships is seeing a lot of action in June, Sagittarius. A new moon on June 3rd has you coming up with a new potential partner checklist of criteria they need to have in order to make you happy. When Mercury enters Cancer on the 4th, you begin speaking your truth about a relationship situation that needs to change. You could be finally admitting to yourself that you’re not too happy being alone or you could be finally acknowledging that some changes need to be made in your current partnership. Around June 9th, 10th, 11th, you could feel a little drained dealing with other people. But don’t take too long of a break away from the world because Venus enters your partnership zone on the 9th, which generally bodes well for attracting new romance or improving a current relationship. The key this month is to admit to yourself what you really want and where you’re really not happy so that you can make positive changes—and part of that positive change is to diplomatically express your feelings. Sagittarius is known for honesty, but sometimes your delivery needs a little work because other people can be put off by your bluntness. Tell all your truth but tell it slant as fellow Sagittarius Emily Dickinson wrote. Which means, basically, to sprinkle a little sugar to help the medicine of Sagittarian truth go down. Your personal full moon on the 17th could have you looking for love in all the wrong places as Mars and Mercury stir up your 8th house of desire. Keep in mind the aforementioned checklist and hold your horses, honey. You could get carried away by lust only to wake up and smell the coffee in July that your new hottie is actually a horror. By all means, mix and mingle because there are opportunities to meet some new faces, including some who may help you boost your business. You have plenty of options to expand your world in June, so don’t leap at the first opportunity whether in relationships or business. Investigate and make sure you feel fully aligned with what or who shows up. I hope you have a great month, Sagittarius. Let me know in the comments how the energy plays out for you. And if you need support navigating a personal situation, book a reading with me.
The emphasis this month is on renewed commitments to your personal well-being, Capricorn. A new moon on June 3rd helps you make positive changes in your overall physical health. Many of you are increasing your intake of greens and detoxing your system with herbal teas and lemon water. Getting back into an exercise routine is also favored now—but keep it simple and easy. On June 8th, when Venus enters your sixth house of work and health, you could find that the next few weeks bring you beneficial support in the form of healers, the right supplements, and new recipes to boost your immune system. Your work is also receiving positive energy this month and perhaps a bonus, new project assignment, or new contact will increase the joy you are feeling on the job. The tricky part of this month arrives in that June 14th to 21st time frame as other people could deliver some unfortunate energy your way. They could be angry about something they expected from you and didn’t get. Or they could be mad that you’re not playing by their rules. The full moon on the 17th in your twelfth house of endings could see this particular association come to an abrupt close as harsh words are spoken. You’ve been through so much since 2008 when Pluto entered Capricorn —and one of the benefits of this transit is that you are not as afraid of letting go as you used to be. With Saturn and Pluto in your sign, you are unstoppable, so anyone who tries to mess with you will be in for a rude awakening because you are not afraid to walk away. On the 23rd as Venus in your health zone opposes Jupiter in your 12th house (which, by the way, rules “prisons”), you will see how much better your overall mental and emotional well being is because you cleared that toxic person from your life. I hope you have a great month, Capricorn. Let me know in the comments how the energy plays out for you. And if you need support navigating a personal situation, book a reading with me.
So much has been rumbling beneath the surface of your life, lately, Aquarius as Pluto continues his churning purge of your subconscious, bringing old patterns of defeatist and limited thinking and self-sabotaging behaviors to light. With Saturn in that same area, you have been taking a time out from the world in necessary contemplation. What’s it all about, Aquarius? Who have you been, who are you becoming, where do you want to go next? These questions are very much in play until Saturn reaches your sign in December of 2020 and a whole new 30 year cycle begins. Even so, that doesn’t mean you need to spend all your time cocooned away at home cleaning out your literal and figurative closets. This month, for example, you’ll feel the energy of wanting to connect and create as the new moon on June 3rd takes place in your fifth house of fun, creativity, and romance. Venus moves into the same area on June 8th, and you could meet interesting, like-minded people, particularly on short weekend trips this month. Mars and Mercury are stirring up your sixth house of work and health from the 14th to the 21st. At the full moon on the 17th, a truth could be revealed about how toxic a work situation really is. For many of you, Jupiter’s transit through your 11th house of hopes and wishes has had you yearning for a new source of income and/or a big career shift. The potential strife at mid-month further affirms that changing this situation is absolutely necessary. The challenge with Saturn transiting your 12th house is that it is an energy that is about wrapping things up rather than starting them. This is not to say you can’t get a new job now—in fact, putting energy into a job search this month is a good idea as Mars (action) and Mercury (communication) could have you filling out job applications and going on interviews. However, the major shift into an entirely new lifestyle and career will arrive after December 2020, so see whatever new job that might come your way this month as a temporary solution. And with Venus opposing Jupiter on the 23rd, make sure you get the money that you’re worth—and get it in writing.I hope you have a great month, Aquarius. Let me know in the comments how the energy plays out for you. And if you need support navigating a personal situation, book a reading with me.
“Dreams don’t work unless you do” is your mantra for this month, Pisces. You have some beautiful energy of motivation as Mars in Cancer trines Neptune in Pisces. This favorable alignment sees you focusing on putting real effort into achieving your desires and taking a calculated risk. With Mercury also traveling in Cancer, it’s a good time mid-month to ask someone out (or someone new could ask you out—say yes!). A creative project that is infused with your fantastically creative and intuitive Pisces energy could go very well this month. At the full moon on the 17th and through the 23rd, you could see the results of all your efforts. There may be an award, reward, new connection, promotion, job offer, publishing contract, etc. — all connected to the dedicated effort you’ve been making to manifest your dream. On the 21st your ruler, Neptune, goes retrograde until November, plenty of time for you to catch your breath and re-assess how everything is going. And you will need time to regroup as you re-evaluate what is making you happy and what you want to commit your precious time and energy to as Saturn transits your 11th house of hopes and wishes until December 2020. In June you’re stepping up into a new level of personal growth, Pisces, because you are focused and determined to succeed. Mars is empowering you to go for what you want and Mercury is giving you the communication skills to get people and resources on your side. A fantastic month also for any home improvement projects such as decorating or even working from home. You could also be entertaining that new love potential at home—another reason to do a good spring cleaning and redecorate. I hope you have a great month, Pisces. Let me know in the comments how the energy plays out for you. And if you need support navigating a personal situation, book a reading with me.
